Job Duties:
Direct youth calmly, firmly, and consistently according to Agency policies.
Be available and open for conversations with youth regarding their problems, concerns, and successes
Teach youth independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, job searching, etc.
Provide clean and neat surroundings for the youth
Ensure that youth perform the tasks assigned to him/her
Distribute and supervise youth taking medication and sign off on the Medication Administration Record.
Complete daily logs and incident reports
Cook as needed
Work cooperatively with assigned caseworkers
Work cooperatively with schools, courts, and other agencies
Participate in youth’s recreational activities
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time Hours Available. (24 hour facility) Only hiring for Afternoons, Midnights and Weekends!

Driver – Part Time
We are looking for a reliable and professional driver to transport youth to scheduled visits.
Position Details:
Primarily Friday and Sunday trips to Cleveland (out-of-town travel)
Occasional weekday trips as needed
Part-time position
Responsible for safely transporting youth to and from out-of-town family visits
Compensation: $120 per trip
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable and confident driving on the freeway
Safe driving record

The Medical Assistant will ensure the accurate management of residents' medication and medical documentation, coordinate medical appointments, and provide support in maintaining compliance with health-related policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication with staff, medical providers, and caseworkers.

Job Description
Medication Administration and Management:
Review MARs (Medication Administration Records) daily to confirm completion and accuracy, ensuring all entries are properly signed off and labeled (e.g., AWOL, refusal). Follow up with staff to address missing initials promptly.
Pass out medications on scheduled workdays.
Input new medications into the MAR and Medication Log according to checklist instructions.
Communicate with pharmacies and providers to arrange medication refills before running out.
Train staff on proper medication disbursement procedures.
Prepare residents’ medications for visits when needed.
Add, discontinue, or adjust medication records in the Medication Log and MAR as required.
Ensure approval forms for all medications (start, stop, or dosage changes) are completed and uploaded in residents’ files.
Documentation and Compliance:
Upload all relevant medical documents, such as Side Effect Sheets and medication approvals, into each child’s file in our system.
Review and submit MARs at the end of each month and pull next month’s MAR.
Complete the “48-hour Missed Medication Form” for residents missing three or more consecutive days of the same medication.
Notify the pharmacy when residents are discharged to prevent unnecessary medication refills.
Ensure all medications are stored properly and disposed of according to protocol when needed.
Remove discontinued medications from the child’s container in the office.
Resident Appointments:
Schedule medical appointments for residents (e.g., Medication Management, Well-Child, Vision, and Dental) and upload related documents into our system.
Attend and document psychiatric appointments, ensuring county approvals are obtained before starting, stopping, or altering medications.
Transport residents to medical appointments as necessary.
Record all appointments on the shared calendar.
Send appointment summaries to caseworkers and upload the summary, along with the sent confirmation, into the appropriate section in our system.
Admission and Intake:
During intake, review the child’s medications and update the Medication Log and MAR accordingly.
Ensure allergies are accurately documented and updated as necessary.
Complete the “Approval to Continue Medication Form.”
Contact the Pharmacy for new scripts requiring filling during intake.
Schedule necessary initial appointments after verifying intake paperwork and insurance information with the Case Manager.
Communication and Collaboration:
Notify the team of medication changes through our team communication system.
Attend Service Plan Meetings.
Contact relevant parties, such as our Nurse Practitioner, for signatures on required documents (e.g., missed medication forms, medication approvals).
Collaborate with caseworkers to ensure all documentation and communication is timely and accurate.

Proficiency with computer systems.
Knowledge of medication administration and compliance processes.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
